Not a medicine

BreathiZen is a dietary supplement. In the United States supplements are regulated broadly as food: they do not go through the approval process a drug goes through, and they may not be sold as treatments.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. That wording is mandatory, and it also happens to be correct. The three lines printed on the bottle are structure and function claims, which describe support for things the body already does. They are not promises of an outcome.

Especially not a treatment for a lung condition

Asthma, COPD, bronchitis, a chest infection, long-term breathlessness — none of those is something a herbal spray is sold to treat, and none of them is something to manage with one. If you have a diagnosis, whatever you have been prescribed stays exactly as it is unless the person who prescribed it says otherwise. Nothing published here is grounds for altering it.

Breathlessness that is new, abrupt or deepening belongs in front of a clinician the same day.

No results are promised

You will not find a countdown to results here, because an honest one does not exist. How a person answers to a botanical turns on diet, sleep, the air where they live, whatever else they take, and plain luck — and this formula carries no trial to narrow any of that down. A page that predicts day fourteen has made the number up in order to close you.

Not for treatment, not for clean air, not for sleep, and not for stopping smoking. Four pumps of plant extract is a small addition to a life rather than a lever on it.
